Beeping above driver seat and box behind driver seat

I just bought a 2015 transit 148" med roof. I kept hearing a random beep above my head in head liner. I found and pulled out a speaker connected to a wire. Is that possibly for reverse sensors?
Then I also have some kind of electrical box on ceiling in cargo area behind driver seat. It doesn't have any words just a dozen wires going into it. Any idea what that is? I do have an aftermarket back up camera and mirror. Could it be for that

it all sounds like added aftermarket stuff to me, the ford boxes are black plastic and behind the wall stiffeners/supports in the cargo area.

It's the government sneaks keeping a watch on you. Cut it all out and get yourself a good tinfoil hat.

But in seriousness, that doesn't sound like factory equipment. Ford's stuff is not floating loose above the headliner.

I am pretty sure all of that is OEM. The speaker is for the reverse sensor - in the front there is a black box. You can see it here.

I don't know why your beep would be going off random - maybe you've got a short somewhere? Sounds annoying. When I insulated my roof it lowered the volume and tone of the beep making it a little less annoying IMO. Maybe you can wrap your speaker and quiet it down a bit?

I suspect your backup cam install may have messed up something.
