NV Camper Build Pics

Well , I'm finished and I got the pics to prove it.
I thought you guys might like to see these if you're thinking about
doing your own camper build.

5 1/2 months / 300 hours +/-
$8500 in parts & materials
1209 lbs build weight
Did everything but the upholstery.

If you click on a pic, it will take you to a photobucket album with 80 odd pics.

Man, I'm glad that's finished . . .

Thanks for sharing. Love what you and accrete did to your vans. Looks as good as what Sportsmobile can do. No go have fun and explore. :-)

I love how the interior looks. looks like there was some good attention to detail with building it and putting it all together.

New to the forum here. Fantastic work on your van. If I had 2 small kids instead of 4 I would strongly consider a high-top Nissan like yours. First scrolling through the pictures I thought, "Too bad they didn't put in a toilet" but then there it is. Under the seat is it a home-made unit or some type of marine/rv portable? Also, is there a sink hidden anywhere?

Tex

It's a dry chemical 'WAG BAG' toilet. Dispose of the waste bags in a trash can.

Water supply is gallon jugs and water bottles. No plumbing or black/gray tanks
on this build. Outside cooking. Ice chest vs Fridge.

It's a weekender with a "simple is better" design concept.

Except for the part where I hit the remote switch for the inverter that fires up the plugged in pre-loaded coffee percolater while I'm still in bed.

I like that part

Nice work DennisV! Curious to know if you have an exterior air vent in the back of the toilet compartment, going through the sheet metal to outside air? If not, do you have a method for controlling odors from the bag of waste material in the toilet? Thanks.
