We stopped, opened the doors, watched the coffee drain onto the street, and then gave the mat a quick dry with the towel we (luckily) had in the back. I shudder to think what the wagon would have looked like if we didn't have the mat :-(.
PGPALMER, do you have carpet floors in your transit?

My 2016 Transit Wagon 150 with the 130 wheelbase arrived this week. There is carpet in the back which I want to place a full length vinyl mat to cover over the carpet. I will remove the rear seats. The model I saw that was full length has ribs on the bottom for a cargo van

installation. I saw a VanTred Rubber Cargo Mat, however this has ribs on the bottom to match the metal cargo floor,

I want to apply the mat over the present carpet, make it more kid proof. I want a mat for a Window Wagon 150.

Take out the carpet and find someone who is selling or giving away their vinyl floor. Even if it's from a cargo you can take out your carpet and use it as a template to cut the mat.

I am interested in rubber floor mats for the rear passenger compartment of my transit. It came with carpet even though i thought it was going to be vinyl. I'm not really wanting to remove the carpet at this point. Husky, Weathertech and Lloyds only make floormats for the front 2 seats of the Transit. I plan to get rubber mats to lay down. I plan to get the raw material and cut it out myself with a razor blade. I'm wondering if any one has done this with a roll of rubber flooring that has cells that will hold in dirt, snow and rain that are tracked in by shoes. I have only found one place to get the material which is at gowesty dot com. Are there any other options?

My best friend had a '66 Chevelle SS with 375 hp Rat motor. Is that what yours is/was? At one time he was .10 off the Nat'l record for "D" Super-stock.

p.s. Thanks to this thread just ordered Husky X-act fits.

* - My mats arrived today. No disappointment so far, nice rubber that feels tough, resilient, and should really do the job. Haven't put them in yet so just first impression, but me be happy.

have you considered the ford oem vinyl floor from a cargo van? i just gave one away recently, and there have been others in the "marketplace" section of the forum in the past. it won't get you the "has cells that will hold dirt" part of what you want, but the price might be right.

I used a $88 motorcycle mat from Walmart and cut to size. It is a little short but serves the purpose for me. The price was definitely right.

Custom rear carpets mat

It's funny how reading through these posts you got guys with carpet swapping to vinyl and vinyl floors with carpet. It seems everyone is trying to improve their situation.

I have a vinyl floored 8 passenger wagon with husky floor mats in the front driver and passenger spots. Of course nothing is offered for the rear passenger rows. I did some temporary 2nd and 3rd row floor mats and rear cargo area with some closed cell foam and automotive carpet. It worked but could be improved upon for sure. So I reworked my templates and went to an aircraft upholstery company. They built me a beautiful set of carpeted mats with binding on the edges.

Here is just the cargo area. It fits perfectly and doesn't move.
